  • You may consider an evaluation with a pediatric registered dietitian if you are concerned about your child’s growth, you are concerned about your child’s nutrient intake or your child has a medical concern related to nutrition. We can collaborate care with other medical providers such as primary care pediatricians, pediatric medical specialists, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists and other mental health professionals.

  • Initial appointments are 60 minutes and follow-up appointments range from 30-45 minutes.

  • Yes! We are in-network with Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Multiplan, Georgia Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids: Care Source and Amerigroup. We are a Tricare Certified Provider. We will verify your benefits, and notify you of any information from your insurance company regarding out-of-pocket costs prior to your visit.

  • Yes, to ensure proper insurance coverage, we request that your child’s healthcare provider (MD, NP or PA) faxes a referral to us at 404-937-6301. We are unable to schedule an appointment without a referral for insurance-based patients. Please e-mail Caitlin@sproutpedsnutrition.com if you need a copy of a referral form to provide to your healthcare provider’s office.

  • Yes! We know that getting to an office can be challenging. Virtual visits are always an option. Please note that both the child and caregiver must be present for the visit.

  • A recent weight and height from your healthcare provider. Please consider having your pediatrician or healthcare provider fax over any pertinent/recent medical documentation.

  • For insurance based visits, because the child is the patient, they must be present for the visit. If you are interested in speaking to a dietitian without your child present, parent nutrition coaching services are available.
